Producing Polysulphate fertilizer

Polysulphate mine and production

Polysulphate™ fertilizer is a new multinutrient fertilizer mined exclusively at Boulby Mine in North Yorkshire in the UK. It is found over 1,200m below the Earth’s surface, under the North Sea along England’s North East coast. We mine polyhalite from a layer of rock, deposited 260 million years ago.

This gallery shows some of the work that goes into mining, processing and preparing this unique multi-nutrient fertilizer which it produced and sold only by ICL Fertilizers.
