During his first visit to Israel, the Duke of Cambridge (Prince William) heard about the developments and future investment planned for ICL UK’s Boulby mine where Polysulphate is produced.

His Royal Highness is the second in line to the British throne and the elder son of The Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. He met with Ofer Lifshitz, President of ICL’s Essential Minerals Division, at a reception for leading Israeli industries held at the residence of the British Ambassador to Israel, David Quarrey.

The Duke was invited to visit Boulby, which is the world’s only producer of polyhalite, to see the full process of mining and preparation of this mineral into Polysulphate fertilizer ready for supply to farmers around the world.
